Ti carver

I held a prototype of the sweet little bad boy while at Bikeman over the weekend. A very sweet ti 96'er frame. Nice finish, nice welds. Maybe by the time they become available I'll have the fundage to build one up as a single (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

That is a sweet frame. I can see you rolling that!

I do wish they were available in
full on 29er though.

I know that the 96er is "nitch" for the Carver, but I'm still partial to the uniformity of same tires sizes (wheels, tubes, tires, etc.,)

Admitidly I've never ridden one, so I'll take your word as to their performance.

Later.

their full sus frame is going to be available with a 29" rear end so you could always try that route! :)

I can see both ends of the spectrum here. While I do appreciate the consistancy of both wheels being the same there are some advantages of the 26" rear. Most importantly (for me at least) is that I have a set of sweet ass 26" wheels that I basically no longer use as well as a bunch of parts so if I got the frame all that I would need to buy is a front wheel and a front disc brake. Everything else I have on my ss moto rapido.
